Hosted by: Bates Wells Leading the change Audience Size: Up to 35 View map Buy Tickets View full agenda

What to expect?

Professional advisers are increasingly using their position to have a greater positive impact on the clients they work with, and drive change in their sectors and industries. This session will be chaired by Louise Harman, Partner at Bates Wells and Board member of B Lab UK. She will be joined by Richard Marke, Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial at Bates Wells, Amanda Powell-Smith, Chief Executive Officer at Forsters Communications, Jeremy Pannell, Senior Manager at Triodos Bank and Nicoleta Voicu, Head of Sustainability, Cooper Parry; bringing together some of the key players from B Corp professional service firms to explore how we can go further as a community, and have a wider, better and more positive influence on the economy and business in the UK.

Action, not words.

Why join this session?

By working together we can get better at cleaning up our supply chains, levelling the playing field, and embedding conscious, responsible approaches in how we work. From net zero and modern slavery clauses in contracts that go beyond the minimum and accounting decisions that are fair, transparent, and sustainable, through to people policies that make inclusion, diversity and transparency the norm. This hackathon will get you talking, thinking, and acting in a way that has long-term positive impacts on our communities and planet, and to crack some of the biggest problems facing purposeful businesses.

What are the key outcomes?

Attendees will be asked to come prepared with the challenges they face and the opportunities they have, lessons to share and questions to ask, as open dialogue is the key to finding the solutions. At the end of the session, those in the room will have actionable outcomes and new connections to help them on their journeys.
