Futureneering Positive Worlds

Hosted by: The What If Department Regenerative futures Audience Size: Up to 35 View map Buy Tickets View full agenda

What to expect?

Join us for some future-neering! Jump on our spaceship and let’s map the future of 2040! Choose a system or subject—perhaps your community, the health system, food networks, education, business systems, or the future of nature in our lives. Explore the value of play, tech, and AI as we journey together through our imaginations. We’ll be both serious and playful, using imagination exercises, a Time Machine, funky tunes, and a load of (secondhand) LEGO!

The first part of the session is inspired by Transition Town guru Rob Hopkins, and the second part utilizes LEGO Serious Play.

Why join this session?

Discover what a diverse group of 35 B Corp members envision for the future in 2040! We’ll keep it fun, light-hearted, and highly interactive as sustainability coach and facilitator Rachel Parsons from The What If Department guides you. Harness the power of play to supercharge storytelling, cut to the chase, and understand how you and this group can become solutionists to complex problems.

What are the key outcomes?

  • Learn about deep storytelling and the use of metaphor to captivate interest.
  • Discover how to keep discussions light, engaging, and empowering while tackling serious and complex issues.
  • Gain skills to apply these techniques in your personal life, with family and friends, and within your teams and community.
