Transforming the UK food & drink sector

Hosted by: Cotswold Fayre Ltd Regenerative futures Audience Size: 100 + View map Buy Tickets View full agenda

What to expect?

The food and drink industry is the highest represented business sector within the UK B Corp movement. How much of a difference are we making to the wider food ecosystem? Are we simply making products that are a little bit better than the norm or are we making a radical difference to the UK’s eating and drinking habits?

The world we live and work in is dominated by a handful of multi-national companies who are transporting food from all over the world; their ultra-processed food is a massive contributor to the UK’s growing obesity problem and the way our food is farmed is destroying biodiversity.

It’s time to rise up and show a better way. Each panellist will have 5 minutes to present their case for better food businesses before a participatory Q & A session on how we can transform this important part of our lives as humans.

Why join this session?

If you work for a food and drink B Corp then come to find out how your business can not just be a better business, but to do and create better food and drink businesses. If you are in a different sector, come and explore how businesses can be a force for good challenging the ‘business as normal’ mentality. Good food businesses and land-centred farming can may not solve our huge issues overnight, but the growing UK community of better food businesses certainly can make more of a difference.

What are the key outcomes?

To be challenged, be inspired and leave the session with business ideas to be more radical.
