TRAVEL
To help you find the simplest, cheapest and most environmentally-friendly way to get to Louder than Words, we’ve outlined some of the best methods of transportation for getting to and from Oxford.
There are two train stations in Oxford, one in the city centre (Oxford Station) 10 minutes walk from The B Corp Festival venues, and one significantly further out, on the north side of the city (Oxford Parkway) – you’ll need to get a bus in from here.
Direct services run from London Paddington and London Marylebone. More direct services operate from the north via Birmingham New Street; from the south via Reading; and from the west via Didcot or Reading.
The central Gloucester Green Coach Station is at in the heart of the city centre, in amongst the venues for this year’s B Corp Festival.
The Oxford Tube offers a direct service from London to Oxford, running a frequent timetable on a virtually 24-hour basis, 7 days a week.
Stagecoach X5 typically runs hourly from Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.
National Express offers many services from all over the UK.
Officially there are four Park & Ride locations around Oxford, but really there’s a fifth one too if you count the Oxford Parkway train station. They’re easy to get to, reasonably priced, and a convenient way into the city centre for the B Corp Festival. Allow 15-30 minutes for the journey into the city.
Thornhill – Thornhill is located off the A40 and M40 to the east of the city. Postcode: OX3 8DP
The park&ride400 service takes you to Oxford City Centre in 15 mins.

If you’re staying overnight in the centre of Oxford, then you might choose to drive right in. If so, there are numerous car parks to choose from.
The largest is Westgate Car Park (OX1 1TR), open 24 hours/day, there are 1,000 spaces, including 50 electric car charging ports and 20 motorcycle parking spaces. There are spaces suitable for disabled users and dedicated Blue Badge parking spaces on both level -1 and -2.
The easiest route from London Heathrow and Gatwick airports, is to take The Airline coach service, which runs 24 hours/day. You can also get to Oxford by coach or train from Heathrow via London and from Gatwick via Reading.
If you’re arriving into London Stansted airport, we suggest the National Express 737 coach service, which is a long but reasonably-priced service. Alternatively take the Stansted Express train service to London Liverpool Street and then take the tube to either Paddington or Marylebone for direct trains to Oxford.
