Policy Statement
Children under the age of 5 are allowed, however, participants must let the events team know in advance if they are bringing a child so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Children over the age of 5, and pets, are not permitted in any of the event venues.
This policy is strictly enforced for the following reasons:
- Safety Concerns: Large events can pose various risks to children, including overcrowding, loud noises, and potential exposure to inappropriate content.
- Health and Hygiene: Pets can introduce allergens and hygiene issues, and their presence can lead to accidents or injuries.
- Legal Compliance: Adherence to local laws and regulations concerning public safety and health.
Risks of Non-Compliance
Bringing children or pets to the event may result in the following risks:
- Health and Safety Hazards: Increased risk of accidents, injuries, and health issues for both children and pets
- Disruption: Potential disturbances to other attendees, affecting the overall experience.
- Legal Implications: Violations of local health and safety regulations, which may lead to fines or other legal actions.

N.B. Guide dogs are allowed in all event venues.

For participants who may need assistance with childcare or pet sitting, the following local services are suggested:
Childcare and early years
Participants will need to arrange their own childcare with a local provider. Oxfordshire Family Information Service have a list of childcare providers on their website here
Dog sitting

Based in Hinksey Heights OX1 5AB. This doggy daycare offers part- or full-day care for your precious pooch. They also offer pick-up and drop-off service. Check their website here

Enforcement
Event staff and security personnel will enforce this policy at all entry points and within the event venues. Attendees found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
