Terms and Conditions

Definitions and interpretation

  • The Festival means Louder than Words: The B Corp Festival.  
  • Event means any activity taking place as part of Louder than Words: The Corp Festival. 
  • Tickets means any evidence for access to The Festival sold by Us to You in order to use the Event Booking App.  
  • Venue means any location where The Festival and its Events are taking place. 
  • We means the organisers of The Festival and any parties involved in the production of The Festival.  
  • Us and Our means anyone acting under the authority of The Festival. 
  • You and Your means the ticket holder or purchaser. 
  • Event App means the application on which You are able to book a place on individual Events.  

Tickets

  • All tickets sold are subject to these terms and conditions.  
  • These terms and conditions should be read before confirming purchase of tickets. 
  • Purchasing tickets constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.  
  • Tickets do not guarantee access to all Events at The Festival, only access to the Events outlined in your ticket type.  
  • If applicable to your ticket, the Event App can be used to book additional sessions. 
  • If you are found to be acting against our Code of Conduct we reserve the right to deny your access to Events and revoke your access to The Festival. 

Payment

  • Payment is required on purchase of Tickets at the price that We set for the Tickets, including additional fees.  

Delivery

  • Tickets will be delivered to you in the form of an email containing a link necessary to access The Festival and the Event App. The link and access to the Event App will be associated with the email address as entered by You at the time of purchase. 
  • Changes to the contact details are subject to terms in the Refunds/Exchanges section. 
  • You will be required to download the Event App to access Events at The Festival.  

Changes to The Festival

  • We reserve the right to modify, change, cancel, reschedule, and adapt The Festival program prior to and during The Festival, including but not limited to: 
    • Content 
    • Speakers 
    • Events 
    • Venues

Refunds/Exchanges

  • A portion of the initial amount paid for Tickets at purchase may be refunded as laid out below if a written request has been received via an email sent to changemakers@thebcorpfestival.co.uk:  
    • More than 90 days before festival start – 85% 
    • 60 – 90 days before festival start – 50% 
    • 30 – 59 days before festival start – 25% 
    • Less than 30 days – 0% 
  • Tickets may be transferred from you to another party free of charge if all of the following are true: 
    • The other party is a member of the same organisation.  
    • The Event App profile has not been created and logged into.  
    • The request has been received in writing via an email sent to changemakers@thebcorpfestival.co.uk.
    • The request has been received before midnight, Monday 19th August, 2024. 

Resale of Tickets

  • Tickets may not be resold  
  • Any tickets not sold by Us are not considered valid for The Festival and will not grant access to the Booking App or any Events. 

Force Majeure

  • In the event of circumstances beyond Our control (including but not limited to war, strikes, riots, crime, epidemic, pandemic, acts of terrorism, climate catastrophe, or acts of god) or any circumstance where there is a significant threat to loss of life We reserve the right to cancel or postpone The Festival.  
  • In such a case, We will make the best effort to reschedule The Festival and Your Tickets will be eligible for the same Events for The Festival on its new dates. 
  • If The Festival cannot be rescheduled and is therefore cancelled, Tickets are not guaranteed to be refunded in full but We will act in good faith to maximise the refund.
