What to expect?
This session is for solicitors, accountants, tax advisers, financial planners and investment professionals. Over the past year a group of front line practicing professional advisers (many of us from B Corp firms) have met regularly to discuss what it means to provide sustainable professional advice. We have been supported in our inquiry by academics from the University of Surrey Centre for Environment and Sustainability.
Together we professionals play a critical role in building the future economy, it is the very concept of professional advice that must evolve to meet the challenge of a whole economy transition. We have explored the common barriers to change, examples of best practice from across the professions and we are now starting the work of bringing our ideas together into a white paper.
We will be sharing some of our insights and hoping to inspire wider participation in our collective project. It will be a round table discussion and a chance to network with fellow professionals.
