Cynthia Davis CBE

Cynthia V Davis is an award-winning diversity advocate, honoured with a CBE by King Charles in 2023 for her exceptional services to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Cynthia is a pioneer in the field. In 2015, she stepped away from her successful recruitment career to found Diversifying Group, driven by a vision for a more inclusive world of work. In 2019, she co-founded Diversifying Jobs and since then, her advocacy work has been tireless.

Cynthia is an accomplished public speaker, regularly participating in panel discussions, workshops, and keynote speeches where she shares her journey and ignites inspiration in others. Recent highlights include delivering a speech at the City of London’s “Women Pivoting to Digital Strategy” initiative and sharing her story with 200 underrepresented young people from Future Leaders.

Passionate about the next generation, Cynthia mentors four young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds. She is a Fellow of St. George’s College Leadership and serves as a Trustee for Children’s charity Over the Wall, alongside being a Strategy Steering Board member for the City of London’s Women Pivoting to Digital Taskforce. Additionally, Cynthia shares her expert insights via a regular column in The Voice, the UK’s only national Black newspaper.

Being an active role model has brought Cynthia no shortage of recognition. She received the Women-Led Business of the Year award at the British Business Awards 2023 and was named Inspirational Woman of the Year 2024 by the Black Tech Achievement Awards.
