Greg Clark served as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from 2016 to 2019.
During his time as a Conservative MP, he spent nearly a decade in senior ministerial positions including Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Between 2020 and 2022 he served as Chair of the Science and Technology Select Committee.
Before his election in 2005, Greg worked at Boston Consulting Group, the BBC, and as Director of Policy for the Conservative Party.
Greg announced his retirement from the House of Commons in 2024. He is the incoming Executive Chair of Warwick Innovation District, the home of the world-renowned Warwick Manufacturing Group.
